Intimate Prints: Japanese Edition

On May 12, the UNM Art Museum will be celebrating Arita's 400th anniversary with special access to Japanese prints from the Museum's collection and a sake-tasting event.

The event will start at the UNM Art Museum at 6:00 pm with a viewing and talk about our unique Japanese prints and other art with Dr. Kymberly Pinder, dean and director, and a sake tasting led by The Floating World accompanied with Japanese food fare. Everyone will then visit UNM's renowned Arita porcelain studio for a demonstration and sale from UNM students involved in the Arita program. Attendees will receive their very own Arita porcelain sake cup made by students!

Tickets are $75 for a single ticket and $130 for a couple and can be purchased online at http://www.unmtickets.com. Tickets are limited but should be available at the door.
